Create the Siddhartha Center with us
Siddhartha Centre is, above all, a living community of friends united by the same path. We love creating an inspiring environment for study, meditation, and mutual inspiration. Our great wish is to build our own Buddhist centre, but our activities are already growing right now. We are therefore looking for people who would like to get involved in what we do. We sincerely value any form of collaboration. Every skill you bring, every moment you give us, and any financial support you offer means an enormous help on our shared journey.
How can you help us?
Working with texts and translations
- We would be very grateful if you could help us make the teachings accessible to more people through translations into various languages.
- A great support for us would also be transcribing audio and video recordings into text, proofreading, and general text editing.
Teacher visits and gatherings
- During events we always welcome willing hands to help with setting up and making the space welcoming.
- We would be grateful for help with preparation – both long-term and last-minute – as well as caring for guests, on-site coordination, and the final clean-up.
Photography, video, graphics and technology
- If you have an eye for imagery, we would be grateful for photography or filming of the atmosphere at our events.
- Quality sound is also essential at our gatherings, so we greatly appreciate people with technical skills and sound engineering experience.
- We also welcome graphic designers and artists who would like to visually support our community's materials.
Videos and subtitles
- It would help us enormously if you could take on basic post-production – editing and polishing video recordings from our gatherings so they reach people in the best possible quality.
- We also welcome your support with creating and proofreading subtitles.
Social media and community connection
- We are looking for someone who can help manage our profiles and create inspiring content with a gentle and personal approach.
- If you have a background in marketing, we would love your help in extending the reach of our projects.
- You can also get involved simply by sharing our events so that those who might benefit from them can find out about them.
IT and website care
- Technical support for the management and ongoing improvement of our website is also important to us.
- We would be grateful for help keeping the content up to date so that everyone can always easily find the information they need.
- We are also open to your ideas and assistance with introducing useful online tools for the whole community.
Building our new centre
- Our own centre, which will serve as a safe haven for practice, is currently in the planning phase.
- We therefore welcome collaboration with people who have professional experience in architecture, law, or project management.
- If you would like to share in the joys and challenges of the entire building process with us, we would be very happy to have you with us.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How much time do I need to commit to volunteering?
It depends entirely on your availability. We welcome one-off help at a specific event as well as regular ongoing collaboration.
Do I need to be a practising Buddhist to help?
Not at all. We welcome everyone who shares our values and wants to support a meaningful project that brings peace and self-knowledge to people.
Where does the collaboration take place?
Most tasks – such as translations, video production, graphic design, social media management, or IT – can be done from anywhere. We need people in person primarily for the organisation of teacher visits.
