The Four Immeasurables
Meditation Retreat with Lama Sangye
We warmly invite you to a meditation retreat dedicated to the four immeasurable states of mind — love, compassion, joy, and equanimity — guided according to the teachings of Patrul Rinpoche. The retreat will be based on the classic work The Words of My Perfect Teacher and its traditional commentary.
The program will be led by Lama Sangye (Mgr. Peter Banás) from the Kagyu Center in Bratislava, a disciple of Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, with many years of experience in traditional retreats as well as in psychotherapeutic practice.

Welcome!
We are a community of friends inspired by Buddhist philosophy and meditation. Our mission is to share this timeless wisdom and the rich array of methods that lead to inner happiness and a liberated mind with the broader public. We aim to convey the essence of this ancient, time-tested tradition in a clear and faithful way and support study, contemplation, and meditation for practitioners at all levels.
We translate works of Indian and Tibetan masters and philosophers from Tibetan into Czech and enjoy sharing what we’ve learned through lectures and courses. Together, we continue to explore Buddhist texts and sometimes have the honor of organizing visits from Buddhist teachers.

In short, no matter what one might be doing,
By examining always the status of one’s mind,
With continuous mindfulness and alertness,
To bring about the good of others—this is the practice of all the bodhisattvas.Gyalse Tokme Zangpo
