How to get to us?
Sloup v Čechách is located in the Liberec Region, approximately 90 km north of Prague.
The nearest bus and train stations are in Nový Bor and Česká Lípa. Connections can be searched on the journey planner, where you can also purchase tickets and seat reservations. You can also buy them at the train station or from the bus driver. It is often advisable to book at least a seat reservation in advance to ensure a seat. We recommend searching for transport for individual legs of the journey separately, as the journey planner sometimes does not find all possible combinations.
Regular buses run to Sloup v Čechách from both Nový Bor and Česká Lípa. A taxi from Nový Bor to Sloup can be ordered by calling +420 607 833 800; the fare is 100 CZK.
By car
Free parking is available at the car park by the pond on Radvanecká street or at the paid car park by the Rock Castle. There are a few parking spaces by the cemetery and on Saturdays also by the school. Parking elsewhere in Sloup is more difficult due to the narrow streets.
Getting here from Václav Havel Airport
To travel from Václav Havel Airport, you can use the bus lines connected to the metro. The easiest option is to take the AE line (Airport Express) from Terminal 1 and get off at Hlavní nádraží (Main Railway Station). From there you can transfer to a train or take metro line C to Střížkov station, from where buses depart to Nový Bor.
Taxi services also work very well in Prague, for example Bolt and Uber. You will need to download their app on your mobile phone.
